About Us

Women in Engineering Christchurch (WiE Christchurch) was first established in 2023 by Emily Sopers. WiE Christchurch was created to help bring women within the engineering industry together and build a sense of community. Our events create an opportunity for people to network, share knowledge and support each other. We hope that by building a community, we can take a step forward to increasing our retention of women within the industry.
